From Parga
to Lichnos Beach
Walk out of Parga, pass the office in direction of the big supermarket
and bakery, continue on this road which eventually leads into the olive groves
and becomes a very small track which steadily climbs up across the side of the
hill (avoid taking right hand tracks). You will come out at the main road above
Lichnos Beach. Turn right down the tarmac road, past Bella Vista Hotel to the
beach, where you can take a taxi boat to return to Parga.
(approx. 1 hour 30 min)

Take a taxi boat to Lichnos Beach and walk back to Parga! From
the beach pass though the campsite and onto the tarmac road, past Bella Vista
Hotel, turn sharp left for 50 m then the path goes down the side of a wall onto

Sensational
view walk (to the church of Agia Eleni)
The best pictures of Parga and its beaches are aerial shots from a hill where
a small church is situated the church of Agia Eleni. Walk past the office and
the supermarket until the small bakery. There turn right onto a very small path
which climbs steep up the hill and turns eventually in a gravel road, continue
until you reach a small sign showing you one smaller path to the right up to the
church. Morning provides the best light for photos of Parga, because the sun will
be in your back. Return at the same route.
(approx. 2 hours roundtrip)
The road past the church will take you through the olive groves all the way to
the main road above Lichnos Beach, where you can return to Parga on the main road
or walk down to the beach for a swim and return by taxi boat or come back to Parga
as it is already described further above.
(approx. 2 hours to Lichnos Beach)
To the Ali
Pascha-Castle in Anthoussa

where another sign shows the track up to the castle. From there you can come back
the way you came or on the bigger asphalt road back down to Parga.

olive groves behind Parga
